Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Tuscarora School District Counseling Department, in conjunction with
students, parents, educators, business/community and post-secondary stakeholders, to facilitate
each student’s academic, career and social/emotional development. The goal for the
Counseling Department is to provide equity and access to all students in identifying their
interests and abilities; while enhancing their productivity and dependability. Thus, allowing
students the freedom of self-expression and control that will promote the growth of the individual
to become an active participant in today’s global society.
